The world tries to sell us the lie that we were made for things of the flesh! That we were made to gratify our natural desires.
"Work harder." "Get what you deserve." "Do what makes you feel good no matter what." The world wants you to set your mind on the flesh.
But what if we were made for more?
Romans 8:6 says "The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the spirit is life and peace!"
We were made to set our mind on things above! To let the spirit of God transform us from the inside out so that we can overflow with the fruit of the spirit!
